The Campaign, which opens August 10, tells the story of a battle for the fictional 14th Congressional District of North Carolina between Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis).
That fictional district is apparently in Pirates country.
Reddit user hesnothere posted a photo of Galifianakis’ character sporting an East Carolina football jersey. The text on top of the photo suggests it’s a scene from the movie, as shown in a trailer.
We wonder if Galifianakis required coaxing from Campaign director Jay Roach to sport the jersey. The comedian attended NC State (he did not graduate) and has been photographed in Wolfpack gear before.
What we’re really wondering, though, is if Ruffin McNeill gets a cameo in the flick.
