Highly-touted Ole Miss freshman wide receiver Laquon Treadwell isn’t scared about his team’s trip to Alabama this weekend. If anything, he likes the Rebels’ chances against the top-ranked Crimson Tide.

It’s not quite a guaranteed upset, but it certainly implies one. And Treadwell isn’t the only Ole Miss player that’s not short on confidence in advance of the game.
“I think we have better receivers than A&M,” QB Bo Wallace told Michael Casagrande of AL.com. “They want to talk about Mike Evans being so good, but we have Donte (Moncrief) and I think Laquon (Treadwell) is going to be that way. We have better players on the outside than A&M does. … Yeah, I think we can put points on [Alabama]. I think we can put points on anybody.”
We’ll find out Saturday if Treadwell’s and Wallace’s words have merit to them.
