No wonder Katherine Webb is apologetic on behalf of Brent Musburger. His on-air ogling of her during the BCS title game has yielded more star-making opportunities for her in the past week and a half than any booking agent could.
On Tuesday night, the girlfriend of Alabama QB AJ McCarron announced on Twitter that she has been chosen to cover Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans for “Inside Edition.” Expect her to be reporting on all the pomp and circumstance from Super Bowl week, namely the sponsored bacchanalias that take place in advance of the game.
News of this latest opportunity for Webb came just four days after she announced that she was posing for the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Musburger might want to ask for a commission on all these opportunities Webb is getting.
