Washington OL Helps Grandpa to Doctor

Washington sophomore offensive lineman Ben Riva isn’t just a starter on the Huskies’ football team, he’s also a good samaritan.

According to a Redditor who posted a story and photo of Riva on the social media website, the grandfather of the Redditor’s fiance was struggling to get to a doctor when Riva randomly stepped in and carried the elderly man down the stairs to reach the office.

The post has received over 2,000 likes on Reddit, with an awesome photo of the grandpa standing next to the 6-foot-6, 300-pound giant.

With all the negative stories we hear in the college football offseason, it’s nice to hear about a player’s act of kindness for a change.
