If you rock a size-15 shoe, the 200-plus Air Jordans of an NCAA title- and Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle can be yours. But it’s going to cost you.
TMZ reported on Sunday that the 215 Air Jordan shoe collection of former Miami (FL) Hurricane and NFL star Warren Sapp is being auctioning off to relieve his debt after filing for bankruptcy.
As of 3 PM ET on July 8, the current bid is $16,700 — more than $10,000 above the collection’s initial worth, according to the Huffington Post.
Sapp filed for bankruptcy in April after he says a failed home construction project in Fort Pierce, FL., depleted the gross $60 million he made in the NFL.
We’ll find out in a little under three days, when eBay bidding is closed, how much the sale of his kicks will cover. Warren Sapp profile
