Tennessee and NC State don’t share a conference or a rivalry. All they share is a border.
Apparently that’s enough for YouTube user and Vols fan acpcarter45 to put together a 3-minute, 44-second winding rant video blasting a team he labels the “NC State P**** Pack prior to the UT-NCSU game on Aug. 31 in the Georgia Dome.
We applaud acpcarter for his love for Tennessee, but have to point out a few errors in his pre-game analysis:
- Labeling NC State as a “pathetic state college” (UT is also a state school)
- Calling the Wolfpack “the bottom-feeders of the ACC barely more relevant than Duke” (NC State’s 4–4 conference record in ’11 was seventh-best in the 12-team ACC)
- Calling NC State “barely a basketball school” (they made the 2012 Sweet Sixteen and have an excellent recruiting class this year)
He insists that the Vols should be “playing someone like Virginia Tech or Clemson or Miami.” Our advice to you, acpcarter45: Prove you can have a winning season under Derek Dooley first.
