T.J. McDonald is fast on the field, where he’s an aspiring All-American safety for USC. He also tried to be fast off the field when it came to his Halloween costume: Ghetto Flash.
A YouTube video shows McDonald dressed in red and gold Nike sweat-wicking tights and a long-sleeve shirt along with a red cape and spandex “mask.” He says to the camera, “This is T.J. McDonald. I’m the Ghetto Flash, and I’m outta here!” before sprinting away.
The camera then pans to Trojans WR Marqise Lee, who nails his cameo as the star-struck onlooker.
Chances are that McDonald was too young to be influenced by it, but his costume is almost identical to that of the Damon Wayans-portrayed superhero Blankman.
