While Robert Griffin III’s unofficial 4.38 40-yard dash time on Sunday left scouts drooling at the NFL combine, former Mississippi State running back Vick Ballard had a little more trouble with football’s most famous sprint.
Check the GIFs below of Ballard stumbling out of the gate and crashing into a nearby tripod at Lucas Oil Stadium.
When Ballard got another chance to do the event, he didn’t fare much better by posting a 4.63 40 time, which was just four hundredths of a second faster than Stanford QB Andrew Luck.
Hopefully Ballard’s team interviews went much better.
