It feels like a day doesn’t go by this summer without another college football team announcing a new helmet.
And according to Uni Watch, UNLV is the latest to give their lids a makeover. The Rebels have ditched the black outline on their logo and black facemasks for an old-school look with a gray facemask and white and red stripe down the middle. It’s a slight upgrade for UNLV that has them looking similar to the San Francisco 49ers but we wish they would have found a way to get Hey Reb! on the helmet.
Hopefully this will be a spark for a program that has won a combined four games in the last two seasons.
