UCLA WR Coach Laid Out by Bruins QB

It wasn’t just Nebraska’s defense that UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley abused in the Bruins’ 36–30 upset of the Cornhuskers on Saturday. Count a member of his own coaching staff among the victims.

During a run to the sidelines in the second quarter, Hundley couldn’t stop his forward momentum in time to avoid trucking Bruins’ wide receivers coach Eric Yarber (H/T @CBSSportsPac12), who was sent tumbling a good 2-3 yards backward.

Hundley had a monster afternoon, throwing for 305 yards and four TDs in leading UCLA to its first signature victory under new coach Jim L. Mora. Yarber surely won’t mind the unintentional battle scar resulting from it.

Do the players even like this coach? No one tried to keep him from going down. Ever player just moved out of the way. Must be some trust issues.
