Tennessee fans aren’t just accepting quarterback Tyler Bray’s ridiculous back tattoo. They are embracing it.
Before Saturday’s game with Florida, Vols t-shirts with Bray’s No. 8 and his name in disco-fied letters — just like his tattoo — will be available outside Neyland Stadium.
Bray is not the first current SEC quarterback to have his ink memorialized in t-shirt form. Alabama’s A.J. McCarron received the “honor” last September.
We are big fans of how SEC fans are using clothing to embrace aspects of their teams they would otherwise be made fun of for – such as the Alabama “Hail Saban” shirt that was revealed yesterday.
If this trend continues, we look forward to a Tennessee “Bray Jet Ski Academy” shirt and a Brishen Mathews ink top for the Ole Miss DB.
