Tulsa’s Helmets Boggle The Eye, Mind

We thought we couldn’t possibly see an uglier helmet than Maryland’s season opener look.

But the helmets Tulsa rolled out for Saturday’s game against Rice really defy description and explanation. The lid features a blue background looking either like a magic eye puzzle or a 3D illustration, accompanied by an absolutely massive script “Tulsa” with a hollow interior.

In case you are wondering, the Golden Hurricane is outfitted by Nike. Of course they are.
