Top 10 Freshman Seasons In College Hoops History

We haven’t even reached the conference season and freshmen are already making names for themselves at major programs. Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger and Kentucky’s Terrence Jones are currently having the most success but we all know the mark of a great player is how they perform late in the season. While the jury is still out on this year’s freshmen, we look at the Top 10 freshman seasons of all time.

    Are you kidding me? John Wall was not better as a freshman than Bernard King. Nor was Michael Beasley. This is a complete joke. He averaged 26 and 12 as a frosh. You guys are clueless.

    Bernard King played in a STAR system where the whole team was built around him. He and Grunfeld did all the scoring.

    Michael Jordan started on one of the greatest teams of all time in 81-82. He won a national championship and hit the winning shot with 12 seconds left. Surely he belongs on the list.

    Beasley’s play was so dominate that he jump started an irrelevant program to national recognition. His season definitely belongs where it is. John wall was surrounded by tons of talent and couldn’t seal the deal. Without a doubt Michael Jordan should be on the list as well.
