Two high-profile, former FBS players have announced their new destinations for the 2012 season. A third, whose future has been the topic du jour of college football for the past week, is set to announce his decision on Wednesday.
Former Miami safety Ray-Ray Armstrong will finish his college career at NAIA Faulkner University pending academic eligibility. Armstrong was dismissed by the Hurricanes in July.
Another dismissed defensive back from a Florida school, former Seminole Greg Reid, was accepted into Valdosta (GA) State on Monday. Reid is eligible to play immediately for the D-II school.
And former Auburn running back Michael Dyer said he is transferring to Prairie View A&M, but coach Heishma Northern said he has had no contact with Dyer. Dyer initially transferred to Arkansas State but was dismissed by Red Wolves coach (and former Auburn OC) Gus Malzahn in July.
The spotlight is now back on Tyrann Mathieu, who the Times Picayune is reporting will definitely be transferring out of LSU. Where will Honey Badger go? Find out Wednesday.
