Fittingly, a mea culpa in response to the most absurd of sports stories is now set to the most absurd of musical devices.
The folks behind the wildly popular “Auto-Tune the News” videos on YouTube have set Manti Te’o’s interview last week with Katie Couric to … you guessed it, Auto-Tune. While we enjoyed hearing modified clips of the original interview, our favorite part of this is the fake rap by Te’o’s father.
Like many of the previous “Auto-Tune the News” clips, this is going viral. As of 10:15 AM ET on Tuesday, it has over 230,000 views since being posted on Saturday.
