The biggest sports-related hoax in recent history can already boast an Internet meme that’s spreading like wildfire.
First there was Tebowing. Then there was Bradying and Griffining. Now there’s “Te’oing”: The act of sharing a special moment with a fake girlfriend or significant other, and one diligent soul already created a Tumblr where users can “show us how you Te’o.” Many people have already submitted pictures of themselves pretending to kiss, snuggle, share a meal with or propose to their invisible girlfriends.
In our opinion, by far the best example of Te’oing thus far came courtesy of Clint Eastwood at the 2012 Republican National Convention. As the Tumblr explained, “Clint was Te’oing before Te’oing was cool.”
