Taxidermied ‘Tebow Gator’ Up for $10K

Tim Tebow’s pro prospects are still up in the air, but his legacy at Florida is still a valuable commodity.

Case in point: A taxidermied, 13-foot long alligator — captured by Florida-licensed trapper Dennis Perkins in 2011 and weighing over 700 pounds — decorated with a Tebow college jersey has a starting bid of $10,000 on eBay.

As a nod to the southpaw QB who helped lead the Gators to BCS titles in 2006 and 2008, the gator is mounted, standing up and holding a football in its left claw with some help of duct tape. It’s not just any football. It’s signed by Florida’s three Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks: Tebow, Danny Wuerffel and Steve Spurrier.

It’s not just the price that blows us away. It’s that the gator is demonstrating throwing form that’s as good as (if not better than) the QB whose jersey it sports.

All that work to make that look good to sell and the best they could do to get it to hold a football is duct tape?

You just had to do it!!!   Did you not think before you made your statement abouit the ‘Gator’s throwing form is better than Tebow’s??  Yeah, how many National Championships did Mr. Gator win, and I dont see his Heisman trophy.   Me thinks more and more of all you Tebow hater’s remarks on Tebows talent stems from his Love of Jesus, and being unafraid of stating same.  Also, he is more of a Man and Talent than all of you rolled into one.   Thank you very much!!!!
