Lost Lettermen is the No. 1 web site for former college football and basketball players.

It includes a database of over 150,000 former football and men’s basketball letterwinners from the 6 BCS conferences. Through a wiki format that allows anyone to edit and update the database, every single player has an individual profile that answers the question, “Where Are They Now?” The database has already been updated tens of thousands of times and is quickly becoming the authority on the whereabouts of former players such as Nebraska’s Eric Crouch.

Lost Lettermen also creates original content, conducting player interviews, writing features and detailing players in the news – along with digging up archived footage of classic games to help fans and players relive the glory days. Players who have contributed to the site already include legends such as Ed O’Bannon, Charlie Ward, Tee Martin, Simeon Rice, Ki-Jana Carter, Scot Pollard, Corliss Williamson and Jeff Sheppard – among many others.

Launched in March 2009, the site has exploded onto the college sports scene. In December of 2009 alone, Lost Lettermen drew over 53,000 unique visitors and 386,000 page views.

The site has made huge headlines with posts such as O’Bannon detailing his ground-breaking lawsuit against the NCAA and our crack research staff tracking down the whereabouts of every Heisman Tropy winner. And Lost Lettermen has already been featured by places such as ESPN.com, Yahoo.com, The Big Lead and The Wiz of Odds.
