Arizona State’s Isaiah Mustafa was a reserve WR on the ’96 Rose Bowl team starring Jake Plummer, but now he’s being targeted by Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres and even movie makers. How? Because he’s a man, and he’s on a horse. Mustafa is the man in the Old Spice Super Bowl ad riding a horse and he’s become very popular. We guess not making it in football hasn’t been a bad thing. Richmond’s Curtis Blair Now An NBA Referee
With Richmond eying a high NCAA seed this year, we look back at a Spider legend. Curtis Blair scored a team-high 18 points and also added six assists and three steals en route to beating Syracuse 73-69 in the first round of the 1991 NCAA Tournament – the first No. 15 seed to ever beat a No. 2 seed. Today Blair remains on the court, but now as an NBA referee, as seen here. This season he’s officiated 38 NBA games.
