When he was a Michigan State running back, T.J. Duckett delivered untold joy to Spartans fans while toting the pigskin for 3,379 yards and 29 TDs during his three seasons in East Lansing. On Tuesday, he brought smiles to MSU students by toting something else: Little Caesers pizza.
Duckett — who co-owns a Lansing-based janitorial and industrial supply company with his brother, former Spartans RB Tico Duckett — was one of a handful of the “Friends of Izzone” members who brought food, hot beverages and blankets to students waiting patiently in line outside the Breslin Center before the Indiana-Michigan State basketball game.
Reading the comments from Spartans fans on the Reddit thread, it’s heartening to know that Duckett is still held in high regard within the MSU community. T.J. Duckett profile
