Barry Switzer will always be a larger-than-life figure in Oklahoma. And boy, does he dress the part.
While stopping by his old stomping grounds on Sunday to take in a Sooners spring practice, Switzer was sporting a gaudy fur coat that wouldn’t have looked out of place when he was OU’s coach in the 1970s and 1980s.
With temperatures in Norman falling below 40 degrees over the weekend, Switzer’s choice in outerwear was appropriate. According to several Redditors, it was nothing new either. Among the places they say they’ve seen Switzer wearing it: At an Oklahoma City Thunder game, in the parking lot of a movie theater and pumping gas at a 7-11.
Don’t ever change, Barry Switzer. Don’t ever change.
