Son of Ray Lewis Commits to Miami (FL)

Miami (FL) and head coach Al Golden are looking to regain the Hurricanes’ past glory and what better way to do that than with the son of legendary alum and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis?

Well, good news Hurricane fans, because Ray Lewis III is taking his talents to Coral Gables as the latest commit for “The U” in the Class of 2013. The news was first reported by CBS Sports’ Bruce Feldman on Tuesday. The son of one of the greatest linebackers of all time is a rising senior running back at Orlando’s Lake Mary Prep outside Orlando.

In one game as a high school sophomore, Lewis III compiled 504 total yards of offense – 206 yards and two TDs on punt returns, 101 on kickoff returns, 104 rushing, 27 receiving and 66 through the air.

At just 5-9 and 175 pounds, Lewis III isn’t a blue-chip recruit, but he’s certainly a dynamic play-maker at the high school level that is worth taking a gamble on with those bloodlines.

Ray Lewis iii will be a gift to the u for the reason he will bring the value and leadership that the u at one time built on in players and daddy won’t allow him to go down that road. so to the other two comments before for me,
