Interest in the football-playing services of Snoop Lion’s son extends well beyond the West Coast.
Notre Dame is just the latest school to offer a scholarship to Cordell Broadus, a 6-foot-3, 186-pound wide receiver in the Class of 2015 who has 393 yards and six TDs through six games this season with Diamond Bar (CA) High School. Thus far, Broadus has scholarship offers from 11 schools, including backyard powers USC and UCLA.
Apparently, the Irish have a thing for wide receivers with famous dads. If Broadus takes his talents to South Bend, he’ll join Corey Robinson (son of former NBA star David Robinson) and Torii Hunter Jr. (son of Tigers CF Torii Hunter) in the Irish’s receiving corps.
