It’s been over a month since the NCAA tournament ended and VCU head coach Shaka Smart is still enjoying the fruits of his team’s miraculous run to the Final Four.
On Sunday, Smart got to throw out the first pitch before the Chicago Cubs faced the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field and also sang “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the 7th inning stretch.
While his pitch was a near-strike, Smart’s singing left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t Carl Lewis “National Anthem” bad, but let’s just say we don’t expect Smart to belt out any more tunes for the foreseeable future.
