Alabama head coach Nick Saban has quite the reputation as a totalitarian dictator and control freak – an image that will only be perpetuated by a report that he has banned ESPN from his players’ hotel rooms in advance of Monday’s BCS title game vs. Notre Dame.

To be fair, it’s a pretty smart way to keep players focused on the task at hand instead of watching the incessant coverage of the title game and getting caught up in what the media is saying.
But this is a classic “only Nick Saban…” move.
