It’s safe to say that any camaraderie that former Florida State teammates Chris Rix and Darnell Dockett once had has been smashed to pieces.
When Rix called in to “Jay Mohr Sports” recently, the ex-Seminoles QB was asked about Dockett’s humorous tweets to Katherine Webb during the BCS title game. Rix said he found it both funny and surprising before dropping this juicy bit of gossip:
“There were always jokes about Darnell and what his preference was in college, if I might … Let’s just say guys would make fun of Darnell in some unique cases … Let’s just say there were a few stories of, ‘Why is Darnell hanging out at this dude’s house or this guy’s dorm room?’ a little more than you’re used to hanging out at a guy’s dorm room.”
Dockett was not amused, to say the least. This was his since-deleted Twitter response to Rix, who issued an apology between Dockett’s first and second tweets:
- “F*** you b**** I hear u lying on me , no one liked your sorry ass ever , when I see u im whooping yo ass on everything I love.”
- “And f*** yo apology p****! Say everything u said on radio in my face!”
- “I swear I my dead mother @coachrix when I see you that’s your ass! Period! F*** b**** lying on me bobby Bowden didn’t like yo sorry a**!”
