You will never hear Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez described as a “fashion icon,” but that hasn’t stopped the sportswear clothing line Tommy Bahama from using him as a pitch man.
Someone posted a picture of a massive advertisement at Arizona’s book store on Instagram, complete with a smiling Rodriguez standing in front of the Grand Canyon in a Tommy Bahama shirt with the words “Rich Rod APPROVED”.
If we were an offensive coordinator, we’d definitely want that approved by Rodriguez. Our shirts being approved by Rich Rod? Not so much.
