If you thought that was crazy, we introduce you to cornerback recruit Reon Dawson. The three-star defensive back from Dayton flipped from Illinois to Michigan on Wednesday’s National Signing Day, but let his undying loyalty to the Scarlet and Gray be known in the process.
“Until I die, I’m gonna be a Buckeye fan even though I’m going (to Michigan),” Dawson told The Dayton Daily News. “When we play (OSU) I’m gonna still bring my ‘A’ game. But, I love Ohio State.”
We have a feeling Michigan head coach Brady Hoke, a fellow Dayton native, is going to have a talk with Dawson about that – starting with calling Ohio State just “Ohio.”
