RB Marcus Lattimore isn’t far from the thoughts of South Carolina fans a little over two weeks after his gruesome knee injury. On Saturday, he let Gamecocks know via video that his recovery thus far has gone smoothly.
During Saturday’s home game against Arkansas, a video message from Lattimore played on the video board at Williams-Brice Stadium. In addition to thanking his fans for all the support, he said that he’s “feeling fine and working to get back on the football field again” and implores his teammates to beat Arkansas (which they did handily).
This video, coming on the heels of a widely-shared Twitter photo of a smiling Lattimore from Halloween, gives fans everywhere reason to hope that he’ll be back on a football field before it’s all said and done.
