Remember those 1990s McDonald’s commercials where Larry Bird and Michael Jordan would bounce the basketball off everything imaginable before making a basket?
Well, Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden can relate – except his magic was on accident.
During Saturday’s 13-3 victory over Iowa, Bolden badly missed an open receiver. So badly in fact, that it would up hitting the foot of an official, was kicked back up into the air and into the waiting arms of tight end Andrew Szczerba for a big gain.
Just how Joe Paterno drew it up, we’re sure.
