Could Pitt’s last football game as a member of the Big East also mean bringing back a cherished, retro look?
Early Monday afternoon, Buffalo Bills LB Scott McKillop — the 2008 Big East Defensive Player of the Year while with the Panthers — sent out the following tweet.

That’s right. The same old-school script helmets that the Panthers wore during the heydays of Tony Dorsett, Hugh Green and Dan Marino could be making a comeback for the BBVA Compass Bowl on Jan. 5 against Ole Miss.
We’ve been proponents for Pitt to bring back its old script logo going back to August, so we couldn’t be happier at the prospect of this. If the rumor that McKillop is passing along ends up being true, we very much hope that the Panthers’ administrators consider keeping it as the program moves to the ACC.
