Can the Bobby Petrino scandal at Arkansas get any more bizarre?
Apparently, it just did.
ArkansasSports360 is reporting that the Harley Davidson motorcycle Petrino crashed on April 1st with Jessica Dorrell that ultimately led to his firing at the school is now up for auction at Copart.com and valued at $16,000. But be warned: There is a repair cost estimated at over $18,000.
According to ArkansasSports360, they have confirmed that this is actually Petrino’s old bike and that Copart is selling it on behalf of an insurance company. As you can see, Petrino gave the bike the apt nickname of “Hawg Wild.”
The close date for the auction is May 30th.
Why do we get a feeling we are going to see zany interim Arkansas head coach John L. Smith cruising around on this in a couple weeks?
