Petition to Obama: Fire Chizik & Jacobs

The majority of Auburn fans likely didn’t vote to reelect Barack Obama as President. But that hasn’t stopped one of them from appealing to the POTUS to give the Tigers football program new life.

A user named “George P” created a petition on Wednesday at “We the People” — run in conjunction with the White House’s official website — to have both coach Gene Chizik and athletic director Jay Jacobs fired from their current positions.

“Either send [sic] military drones to the athletic department and blow the whole thing up or give our boosters a $10 million stimulus package to create new orange and blue jobs,” the petition reads. “Determine that Jacobs and Chizik are terrorists and get rid of them for Auburn.”

Auburn fans have a penchant for this, apparently, as a Change.org petition was started in October asking the Tigers to hire Bobby Petrino as their next head coach. They are taking their desire to have “a leader and not a loser” quite seriously (and crazily).

    This is even more stupid than the petitions for state secession.  Obama is not the proper person to do this, he is not qualified to to much of anything truth be told, but this is ridiculous!

    This is by far the most stupid and childish move by any group of fans of the game!  Wake up Auburn fans – Mr. Chizik was the Nation’s best 2 years ago when he defeated Oregon at the end at the time.  Do you truly want ‘loser Petrino’ to fill-in because he’s on the unemployment lines and looking for work and would take any job anywhere he can find work? even if it’s flipping burgers?  WAKE UP and smell the coffee!!  Chizik has had a bad year, granted but there are many many others to name, who are in the same situation and ARE NOT losing their jobs!  Better stick with what you’ve got – let’s just hope that the new incoming recruits can work with what you’ve got, and that ‘WHAT YOU’VE GOT’ will improve to a Bowl qualified team.  So be it!  Stop blaming ONE MAN – just blame the talent that just didn’t work up to their potential this year.

Governor  Bama,  don’t you have work to do to get your house in order.  The state didn’t even vote for Obama.  You guys are weird down South.  Too much sun.  Go get a life  Bamaie…  Bama is not the richest state in the Union.   You’re falling behind Mississippi.
