We’ve been giving Nike a hard time this summer for redesigning every uniform they could get their hands on but the new football uniforms Maryland and Under Armour unveiled Monday night make Nike look somewhat sane.
After months of speculation, the Terrapins unveiled their new look under first-year head coach Randy Edsall and there really are no words to describe the results.
The Terps have ditched their traditional look for 16 uniform combinations that feature black and white helmets with a matte finish on the blacks and a turtle-shell texture on the whites. There is no decal on either and a stripe down the middle that uses part of the Maryland state flag.
As you can see below, the uniforms are nearly as wild.

We’ll go a step further: These are the worst uniforms in college football, even worse than Bowling Green’s.
