The Ole Miss defense couldn’t stop anyone during the Rebels’ 66–31 home loss to Texas on Saturday night. The staff at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, on the other hand, had no such problems.
Just before halftime, a man ran onto the field, pulled down his shorts at the 25-yard line and slapped both his other cheeks to the delight of the crowd. Roughly five seconds later, man who appears to be a state trooper took him down with a textbook tackle at the 11-yard line.
The streaking was one of the few long runs of the night that didn’t end up in the end zone. Six touchdowns in the Texas-Ole Miss game covered 46 yards or more, with the two teams combining for 1,075 totals yards of offense.
