Oklahoma State has become the Heartland’s version of Oregon with their various array of helmets and uniforms, and the Cowboys are unveiling a new all-orange look for Saturday’s game against Iowa State.
As you can see below, the Pokes will be donning orange jerseys and orange pants, along with an orange helmet that features school mascot “Pistol Pete” on the side instead of the traditional “OSU” insignia.
While we are a fan of the all-orange look, we wish the helmet had the traditional logo for a throwback look or had an oversized “Pistol Pete” logo to give it a more modern look. As it is, the helmet is nice but a little bland. Grade: B+
