It wasn’t just on the field that things turned ugly for Arkansas fans.
During the tailgate before the game in Little Rock in which Louisiana-Monroe upset No. 8 Arkansas, two female fans — both of whom were presumably cheering for the Razorbacks, as indicated by their shirts’ colors — were involved in a nasty fight. A third fan tried to intervene, only to suffer a wardrobe malfunction in the process. (Hence the Razorback image in the middle of the picture, according to the person who posted it.)
An overwhelming number of commentors at SEC Rant indicate this is common for Hogs games at Little Rock’s War Memorial Stadium. We especially like the phrase “The Mardi Gras of Saline County.”
After coughing up a three-touchdown lead to the Warhawks during a 34-31 overtime loss, Arkansas might consider suiting up fans like these. That’s an excellent display of proper takedown form.
