Between his outrageous book signings and doling out advice for men whose wives have mustaches, it’s been an eventful couple weeks for Mike Leach.
But apparently that was nothing for Washington State’s new head football coach who headed north of the border on Tuesday to go bear hunting in Canada. Yes, bear hunting.
“Yesterday, I shot one of the biggest bears the guide had ever seen,” Leach tweeted on Thursday. “He has been guiding for over 15 years. Over 7 feet and over 350 lbs.”
As Coug Center pointed out, this is what Leach is doing with his time while other college football head coaches attend laborious spring meetings or break down game tape.
Of course it is.
