AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, Katherine Webb, has been on a whirlwind ride to fame since Brent Musburger drooled over her on national television during the BCS national title game between Alabama and Notre Dame.
That’s now landed her in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, as SI released 30 pictures of Webb posing for the issue on Monday that pay homage to her boyfriend, alma mater of Auburn and football in general.
Included in the photos of Miss Alabama USA 2012 are Webb:
• Wearing a half-Alabama, half-Auburn jersey with McCarron’s #10 on it
• Webb wearing a houndstooth bikini in honor of Bear Bryant
• With a cheerleading megaphone
• With a referee whistle
• In a white bikini next to McCarron’s helmet
• Wearing shoulder pads
• In a revealing crimson bikini
• In McCarron’s #10 jersey with a white bikini bottom
Needless to say, the beauty queen looks very comfortable in her own skin and posing for the legendary swimsuit issue.
Adding to the honor, cover model Kate Upton sent out a tweet on Monday with a picture of Upton, Webb and fellow swimsuit models Chrissy Teigen and Hannah Davis apparently getting ready for “Late Night with David Letterman”:
