The federal government is perpetually blasted for its inability to get things done. And taxpayers won’t be any happier to see video footage of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell spending seven minutes of Thursday morning’s session praising Louisville AD Tom Jurich and the Cardinals’ move to the ACC, which was approved Wednesday.
“I am hard-pressed to think of a more conspicuous example of success than what Tom Jurich has accomplished in athletics in the last 15 years,” said McConnell, a 1964 alum of the university. “Membership in the ACC, announced yesterday, is the culmination of his extraordinary leadership.”
American tax dollars hard at work.
