When it comes to press conferences, no coach in college football is more entertaining than LSU’s Les Miles.
After the Tigers’ up-and-down, 41–35 victory over Ole Miss on Saturday night, Miles took the podium to express his admiration for the LSU players who had just played their final home game. Apparently angered at a local paper calling the collegiate career of former five-star recruit Russell Shepard a “flop,” Miles went on the offensive from the get-go.
“There is no such thing as a ‘flop’ that takes the field for our football team!” Miles said. “You throw your arms around them, you give them a big kiss on the mouth. If you’re a girl.” (Miles hasn’t been shy about kissing other men in the past.)
Oh, and he also drops an F-bomb in when he meant to say “frickin’.” After his rant was done, he opened the floor to questions from reporters.
Our only question: “What is this guy smoking?”
