Alabama linebacker commit Reuben Foster already had an unusual story since the future Crimson Tide football player has an Auburn tattoo on his arm.
Now his story is just insane.
Foster’s father, Danny Foster, was arrested in Dania Beach, FL, after breaking out of prison in 1996 for shooting his wife (she survived) and Foster when the recruit was just 18 months old. Foster was shot in the back in a crime that led his father to be indicted in Alabama in 1996. He fled the state before being arrested in California. The elder Foster broke out of jail in December of 1996 and has been on the lam ever since.
According to reports, Foster’s dad has been living in South Florida for the last three or four years under a new identity and working odd jobs.
Foster might be the only player in the country who should be happy his dad was just arrested.
