As of April 2011, former North Carolina and NFL great Lawrence Taylor is a registered low-risk sex offender after he plead guilty in March 2011 for sexual misconduct and patronizing a 16-year-old prostitute. His Wednesday appearance on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” showed that he’s not ashamed of it.
During the show’s “Dear Insiders” segment, a fictitious letter from Tim Tebow to Taylor was read by host James Brown, with Tebow “asking” Taylor for the secret to success. LT suggested sex would take some of the pressure off Tebow’s shoulders.
“I would say he would have to go to church, temple, wherever he goes, find a nice girl,” Taylor said. “I mean marry her if he has to, but he’s got to get some of that pressure off.”
And this came after Brown asked about his May 2010 incident with the underage prostitute earlier in the show. Clearly Taylor feels more comfortable without a filter. Lawrence Taylor profile
