ESPN’s Darren Rovell sent out several tweets Monday documenting how five universities — Michigan, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida and North Carolina — have partnered with Kellogg’s on limited edition, themed Pop Tarts specific to each school.
The college-themed breakfast treats won’t hit shelves until next month, according to Rovell. So for now we’ll have to gorge ourselves on the next best thing: Twitter users making fun of the whole concept.
Some of the gems are included below.

Aggie Pop-Tarts almost get done cooking, then they fold and burst into flames in the toaster. — Fake Dan Beebe (@DanBeebe) August 20, 2012
And the runaway winner so far:
Just tried the North Carolina logo Pop Tart in a taste test. I gave it a C-minus but someone changed it to an A.

We’re most surprised that Arkansas put itself out there for this campaign after their rocky offseason. Our suggested zinger: “Do not consume Razorbacks pop tarts while operating a motorcycle.” Or “Can be purchased with food stamps by financially troubled football coaches.”
