Kentucky football coach Joker Phillips doesn’t just organize fun fall camp activities for his team. He also participates in them.
Phillips gave his Wildcats a break from two-a-days on Tuesday afternoon by taking them to a nearby pool, where he proceeded to do a backflip off the diving board. (It’s five seconds in to the embedded video below.)
Last week, Phillips rewarded his team for their first full practice in pads by having an ice cream truck set up shop on the practice field. He’s clearly a man who enjoys his summer fun and wants his players to do the same.
Hopefully that fun carries over onto the football field this fall, as Phillips is squarely on the hot seat after an 11-14 record in two seasons as the head coach of his alma mater.
