Kentucky fans have already displayed all sorts of insanity in the days leading up to the Final Four and Kansas fans are getting into the mix by making the Twitter hashtag #KUboobs go viral on the internet as both male and female fans are submitting pictures of their chests in a twisted form of support for their program.
Just what does this have to do with Kansas basketball? Jayhawk Talk explains:
“It all started with a single tweet from @MommyLovesWine, a Kansas City based KU alum and fan. The day of the KU vs. (Missouri) game in Lawrence (on Feb. 25), she posted a “twitpic” of herself (from the neck down) in a KU shirt with a message that KU needed a little boob for luck.
That day KU came back from a 19-point deficit to win.”
With Kansas now in the Final Four, the movement has gone mainstream and the story has already been reported by Fox 4 KC and is making the rounds on the internet as people peruse the good, the bad and the ugly that people submit on Twitter. There is even an @KUBoobs Twitter account that is actively Tweeting out the best pictures submitted.
We’d like to think we are above cleavage shots here, so click on the link below if you’d like to see actual submissions.
If you think things are out of control now, wait until the #KUBoobs campaign hits Bourbon Street.
