NBA pariah Stephon Marbury has been let go by China’s Shanxi over a contract dispute. The Dragons asked him to take a huge pay cut or become a player/assistant coach, neither of which Starbury was willing to do.
With the season so close to starting, almost every Chinese Basketball Association already has the maximum of two non-Asian import players, meaning Marbury will likely not play in China this season. The logical place for Marbury to sign is Turkey considering the response Allen Iverson has received there. Or Marbury can go back to creating YouTube videos.

Marbury was NOT exiled from the NBA. Last season the Celtics offered him a contract – which he declined. He will make the best decision about the best course for him now.
