Even an overlooked athletic program like Idaho has its share of die-hard fans who will go to great and unique lengths to display their team pride.
On Tuesday, Simon Miller — who fittingly goes by the Twitter handle @vandalgrad — posted a photo of his father’s new prosthetic leg. The area of the prosthetic directly below the knee features a fierce rendering of an actual Vandal, the people who were best known for sacking the city of Rome in 455 AD.
That … is … awesome. If we were an administrator for Idaho athletics, we would seriously consider trying to incorporate this rendering into more of the Vandals’ promotional materials. Or at the very least give Mr. Miller complimentary tickets for the upcoming football season.
