UCLA head coach Ben Howland is on the hot seat in Westwood but that didn’t stop him from having some fun with Bruin students before Saturday night’s huge game against No. 11 Arizona.
Students camped outside Pauley Pavilion on Friday night in advance of College GameDay being held inside the arena on Saturday morning. Not only did Howland stop by with players to distribute pizzas to the loyal UCLA followers, the 55-year-old coach also tried his hand at beer pong against the student body.
Judging by the photo in the Daily Bruin of Howland with just one cup left, it appears UCLA’s head man was a little rusty from his college days.
Nonetheless, the fact that Howland was actually playing a drinking game with UCLA students is hilarious.
If the Bruins beat the Wildcats on Saturday night, we fully expect video of Howland hitting a beer bong at a fraternity party to surface.
