Tennessee fans aren’t the only SEC diehards that want former Super Bowl-winning coach and current ESPN analyst Jon Gruden as their next head coach. They got a hankering for Chucky down in Fayetteville way as well.
On Sunday, a trio of Arkansas fans posted a YouTube video in which they parody the Beatles classic “Hey Jude” with a song they call “Hey Grude.” The three Razorbacks rooters promise Gruden a $6 million annual salary and even make mention of his favorite play, “Spider 2 Y Banana.”
While our money is on Gruden taking the Tennessee job (if any college coaching job at all), we praise these three Arkansas fans for both their clever lyrics and their strong harmonizing abilities. “Hog Lady” Liz McDaniel has some worthy singing company in Pig Sooie Nation.
